What is the problem with that seat? Uncomfortable? I was thinking of getting one and filling the passenger side with foam to flatten it out...

yea its just uncomfortable for me... I'm a big guy and would like to sit a little farther back. Plus I wear a backpack ALL the time, and it always hits that hump. The stock seat has a lower hump so the backpack would sit perfectly.

I have a spare seat on my parts bike not sure on the condition of the cover though. I am 2 states away from it right now but I will have someone take a look for me.

    maverick, that would be great!

Fitz, good suggestion but I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible, I've got enough into parts right now can't really swing buying a seat outright just yet...

Thanks man, maybe we can make this work. If not, I'm willing to sell this seat outright. 130 shipped sounds fair...

As far as I know 750s, 650s and 550s seats are all different. It might be possible to make a swap work by modding the mounting brackets and hinge locations, but it is not a direct bolt-on.

Hmm... maybe I'll just have to sell this then on ebay or something and pick up a used one there for my specific bike as well....

I have a spare stock saddle here from my 81 650. It will need recovered. I purchased the exact saddle you have, and I love it. If you can find a cover for it, I will be willing to sell my stocker.
