    I bought this bike this spring(with the carbs off.)Took one look inside the carbs and (knowing myself) decided that the learning curve would give me a machine with 3 running cylinders,so I sent them off to get cleaned.Just got them back(btw,Mike in Wichita,Ks. did a beautiful job).Went to the parts box...no aircleaner pipes!Yamaha has discontinued.Any suggestions for substitutes,or Internet sites with parts bikes would be gratefully appreciated.I even thought about going to the Home Despot,figured I'd try putting out this plea first

    Hey Ross, i work at a bike dealership in canada. Let me check with my parts guy today and see what he can find. He has been able to find all the parts i've needed so far for my XJ550'S and my XJ750 (including carb boots). I'll let you know how much they are (if available) and get back to you today.

    Mine didn't even come with an airbox. Each carb has its own air filter. I imagine the previous owner ran into your same problem, and just took this route instead. I hope that wasn't a bad choice..
