So originally the break light would stay on constantly. Checked the switches. Rear break switch worked. Front tested good. 12 volts constantly still to break light. DID NOT CHANGE ANY ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OR CHANGE THE WAY ANY COMPONENTS OR WIRES HOOK UP! I pulled headlight off to get to front break light wiring. And took of tachs to better reach and see wires. DID NOT UNPLUG TACH! AT ALL! once everything was back together I started the bike but the rpm TACH wasn't running... pulled front break...the rpm tach starts working..ONLY WHEN FRONT BREAK IS PULLED! I don't understand what has happened but I don't know what to do now... PLEASE NEED HELP IMMEDIATELY!!! LY

Fuel light has never worked. When holding front break, the rpm gauges works and also when holding the break if you turn in either blinker, the fuel light Will blink as if it was the blinkers. Horn doesn't work whatsoever. I have no idea where to even start. It's like everything is working the wrong function...

Will upload video soon. If you push down the rear break it will also have the same effect as the front break. If you try to use the horn while holding the break, it's like it all loses power...

if this problem showed up after you remover the headlight, I would go back and see if you pinched a wire when you reinstalled the head light and tach

Almost sounds like you have some similar-looking wires or connectors mismatched....

No, I have a power probe that I can add or take power from any wire. If I add power to the brown wire, everything works... etc, the blinkers, horn brake light... it also tells me what kind of voltage I'm getting. No power to this wire period. From the look of this diagram, it runs through just about everything...

Also I've not changed the wiring in any way form or fashion... it is all the same as it was before the problem started. I've lost all power to this brown wire. I'll take a pic of the wiring diagram.

You've got an intermittant fault. Start at one end of the wiring and proceed to the other. Yes, the sucky part of electrical repair.

That's exactly what I've been doing for hours on end. .BUT I found it! Was a 15 amp fuse behind the indicator lights that was blown. . THANK YOU ALL for the help and especially the WIRING DIAGRAM to my bike. Would have took alot longer to find. :) Love this site!

    pinched in the headlight ring.
also when you squeze the brake lever you make a connection to ground. the voltage is at the bulb and the squezing of the brake completes the circuit to ground with the bulb filliment acting as a resistor

the brown wire comes from the ignition switch and brings voltage to the rest of the fuses, it is supplied from main fuse to ignition switch. turn key on connects to brown wire.
