After hearing a fellow forum members bike (Lostboy) with a mac 4 into 1 exhaust I instantly had to buy one for myself. Prior to the purchase my bike was running the stock headers with Emgo shorty mufflers, it sounded great but had a different tone than I was looking for. The Mac exhaust with the stock baffle was a little to quite and tinny for my liking so I made my own which really opened up the sound.

I had heard online that the finish on Mac products can be hit or miss but I am pleased to say that the chrome looks fantastic and has no blemish. Installation was a breeze, centre stand still function as its supposed to.

From a performance standpoint I was really impressed, there was no need to rejet for the pipes (I have upped the pilots 1 size from stock for the Emgo mufflers) and the bike pulls much harder from 7000rpm to redline. In first gear I can almost get the front wheel to lift off the ground and past 60mph it pulls a lot harder than it did before with my previous exhaust setup.

Heres a video off the bike running with the new exhaust.

Let me know what you think!

i went with the black 4 to 1, only problem is changing the filter. The housing does not fit through the pipes you have to rotate it to remove element.
I have a stock exhaust that I am going to put on it this week to see what I get for a differance in sound.
the mac is 16 lbs vs stock at 29 lbs.

I wear ear plugs when going more that a short ride.
what a difference on the way to work , took a while to get used to the plugs I drive by sound of motor to know what speed and gear I am in , now I have to look at the speedo and tach more.
