So I was grinding off some tabs off a 1983 xj750 maxim and accidentally grinded off the motor mount that mounts to a triangle plate to the motor. I was hoping someone on this forum knows what kind of steel is used on these particular bikes so that I can machine a tab with the correct steel and weld it back on? PLEASE BABY JESUS I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP. THANK YOU

That's overkill, go with 23.. something and it will be great.
