Double check that the sidestand switch isn't stuck. Because of the location they can get crud on the plunger. A quick shot of silicone lubricant toward the plunger opening in the switch body will free it up if it's stuck.

The clutch safety switch only comes into play when trying to start the bike in gear.

The neutral safety switch only comes into play when trying to start the bike without pulling the clutch lever; ensuring that you can only start when in neutral, or when the clutch lever is pulled.

The sidestand safety switch is always in play, and will cut power to the TCI when tripped. I clean and lubricate mine at the beginning of every riding season, otherwise it will stick just enough to trip when going over a bump.

That is all of the safety switches.

If the sidestand switch is not sticking you can temporarily bypass it by unplugging the sidestand relay to see if the switch is causing the problem.

You're welcome. That particular problem had me stumped for about a week the first year I had my Seca. Thankfully I was just riding around town when the ignition cut out, and not on the interstate.
