    Hey new to the forum. Just got handed down my father's 86 750 maxim x.
    I'm riding halifax and the valley. Would like to meet and get out riding with other xj owners.

    Hey Joe,

    Sorry it took so long to respond, I don't go on this forum very often. I live in Shubenacadie and have a couple of XJ650 Maxims and lots of extra parts. Many XJ650 and XJ750 parts are interchangeable. A XJ owner who lives in Lake Echo and I used to run the annual XJ carb clinic.     I have been on this site for some time but mostly poking for info. I have a 1982 XJ1100j. I have had it for a while but had carb problems than finally got it going and the number 2 exhaust valve went through the piston. Got it all fixed up a was riding this summer. I am in Digby Nova Scotia

    I live around Antigonish, ride a 1982 xj750j Maxim, it's in pretty good condition and I ride as often as possible in the summer, all around Nova Scotia. Would be great to meet others around the province to swap stories and experience.
