After replacing the light bulbs in my instrument cluster with LED bulbs, the only bulb that now lights up when I turn on the ignition is the "warning" bulb. Nothing else on it works anymore. Can anyone provide me with advice on how to proceed?

82 maxim because you mention warning light.
your directional bulbs and meter back lights go to ground
in neutral light Sb wire is ground
high beam runs through the atari and may have to remain a normal bulb
the warning light connects into atari may have to stay a normal bulb

bulbs in the cluster did you get bidirectional leds? pull bulbs out and turn them 180 degrees

Bidirectional leds? Hmm, I suppose they might exist, by having two in the same package one would work any way around, no matter how it was connected, clever really.

yes bidirectional leds and diodes exist . if you buy superbright leds their website tells you if they are or not.
Rotate the directional bulbs and neutral bulb and highbeam bulbs , meter lights 180 degrees see my notes in post above

in directional systems with 2 indicators the indicator light has a ground. in systems with 1 indicator bulb (xj550maxim) you need a bidirectional led bulb because the indicator bulb "grounds" through the opposite side directional bulb

got a link to your bulbs?

    https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...re-wedge-retrofit-car/197/#tab/Specifications

in link above you will see a line that says polarity sensitive NO that is a bi directional led

    Thanks for the replies guys!

Turns out I am a bit of an idiot. I rechecked my fuse box and it turns out one of the fuses was too long and not making proper connection with the prongs. Once I swapped a new one in the instrument cluster lighted up. I also read the instrument cluster trouble shooting manual I managed to purchase on kijiji the other day, and it states the warning light stays on until the bike is started.

I will likely need more advice in the future, but will wait to see what she does once I get the gas tank and carb back on so I can start her up.

One thing I am concerned about now however is that the fuse box was releasing a "electrical type burning smell" with the ignition on, and it would feel a bit hot to the touch. The smell and the heat would start very quickly after turning on the ignition. Not sure if this is something I should be concerned about or not, i didnt want to leave the ignition on for too long in order to find out tho.

Is your fuse block upgraded to blade type fuses or is it the original glass fuses...You should upgrade highly recommended .

It is still the original glass fuse block, where would I find an upgraded blade type block? XJ4ever? Are the original blocks prone to issues?

Xj4ever has them ...stay away from going with indivdual fuse holders unless you like hillbilly wiring ..a fuse block is much neater and keeps wiring tidy.
