Gas cap for the Star Trek fan

    My wife wanted this on her XJ11. After some quick fabrication this is the end result. A swing away communicator key cover. A hole was drilled under one of the cap gasket screws through the cap so a screw cam pass through into the badge. Had to make a special screw for it to fit. There is a magnet on the back to keep it in place but swings easilt out of the way.

    My wife wanted to keep the theme so I made this for the front fender.
    The base is resin and felt with magnets imbedded to hold it on the front fender. Enterprise mounted on stainless wire and mount painted to look like space.
