    found a relatively complete maxim x in mostly good condition in the junkyard.

    1) is there any direct swap overs that are worth it for a maxim midnight?

    and

    2) anybody want anything?

    Just for curiosity's sake, do the motor mounts look somewhat similar to the standard Max's? I can't afford to buy anything, just wondering... :wink:

    Oh, and from what I know, there's not a whole lot that will swap over, especially if yours is an older 80-83 (which I'm assuming it is). They changed quite a bit in about '85 or so.

    mines an 85 maxim midnight.... I took a good long look at the bike and it seems almost everything is a copy except the engine and cooling.

    Does it have the radiator parts? ...in good shape? How about the plastic "chrome" trim? Any chance you could snap a picture or two of it?
