Not sure about the tank, but if the fuse panel is anything like the other XJs, it's under the seat.

The fuel capacity should be a little less than 3.5 US gallons. And your fuse block is under the instrument cluster cover. Just pop the screws off and remove the cover (with the lights on it).

HAP has lots of good information on his web-site.

    http://www.maxim-x.com/specifications.html

This is for the "X" version, but the two bikes share a lot of components and there is other information that would apply to the "airhead"

so the fuses are under the speedo? well then thats probabably gonna be too much work for putting in ground effects, but i think those would look to ghetto or whatever, i should stick to the classic look and stuff. And 3.5 gallons wow, umm then i guess i have this question, what range do you get with a 700, im asking those wiht this bike of course.

IF the airheads have the same tank as my liquid X I have never put mpore than 2.8Gal in it I usually fill it when the fuel light comes on unless I know I am going on a long ride. Freeway driving I get around 95-98 miles til I need the reserve of course that was before the last time I tore the carbs apart and the bike seems alot smoother and better on fuel now. But I haven't done the same trip as before yet. For the fuses they are under your turn signal indicators, oil, nueral light the four screws come out and that cover comes off.

alrite, thanks for the better response, you see i wouldnt ask this question because i could jsut go up town to a gas station with a meter on it to see how much it holds and stuff, but i get free gas :D, and our tanks have no meters on them. but thanks for the better fuse panel descpripion, i mite tear that apart and have a look at it.
