I have a question for someone who does carb rebuilds. My bike is a 1982 Seca 750, BTW. The choke is engaged by the pivoting of the long, straight bar on the top of the carb assembly. What are the single screw/spring set-ups located next to each plunger. I don't have a digital camera to post pictures so I hope my description works. I bought the bike for $400 and have been tinkering here and there and finally took her down the road yesterday! I could not have done it without the wealth of information on this site!

If you are talking about the screws recessed in the flat part at the top of the carburetors those are the idle mixture screws. Under each is a spring, flat washer and an o-ring. There are 4 of them, one on each carburetor.

If you refer to the screws on the butterfly shafts, between the carburetors those are the synchronization screws. There are 3 of them - between each pair of carburetors.
