tubeless unless your rims have spokes then u likely have tubes although i don't know if any xj's came with spoked wheels? but we will ask that question on another forum!

Hi wbaize we need some info about your bike to be able to give you any helpful advice. Make up a 'signature' with your bike info it helps everyone else. Tire-wise I can tell you I have new Dunlop D404's on my '81 Seca and will probably use those or Avons when I replace the tires on the '83. If you're a Maxim rider then someone else will need to chime in.

well my bike is a XJ750, I currently have tubeless, I was just wondering if I could use either, I guess replacing them with tubeless would be best. Any suggestion on type or brand?

Maxim or Seca, it MIGHT make a difference in choices on a 750. I can vouch for and recommend Dunlop D404's.
