well on ebay i found these led kits for my bike, they're universal, and it says i can wire them up to my battery and use a toggle switch, they require a 30 milliamperes draw, is that alot? it says it isnt, but will that have an effect on it also, if i have a toggle switch, and it is off, will it draw juice? i dont think so and my bike starts quick and easy, so ya. the led's are blue, 1x3/8x1/4, small but thats ok, and i was thinking about putting 2 under the tank to show the engine and one under each fender, jsut wondering if anyone has any idea of how bright they are.

30ma is not a lot, you should be fine. and with the switch off, you will not draw any juice. can't say how bright they'd be without more info. if they list the brightness in lumens for the led's (which i doubt they do) we might be able to help you figure out how bright they are.

The current draw is so slight that I see guys use far more LED's than you got planned and just leave them on ... showin'-off for the ladies ... when they park their bikes outside the Hamburger Stand at the Beach!

30mA is next to nothing. Your bike probably has a 14 amp hour battery. That means it can support a one amp draw for 14 hours. So leaving .03A lights on for 24 hours would be 5% of your battery.

Schooter; who the hell in Elkton ya gonna impress? You're probably the only guy in town with a bike, aren't ya? Personally, I wouldn't do it, but not because of the bikes electrical system. And no, if you have a simple toggle-switch controlled circuit, it won't be drawing anything at all when "off."

i got eight pod lights on my bike which each contain 4 leds, very negligible draw on the electrical system, the lights in a standard flashlight draw more juice.
