Could anyone tell me exactly how the choke cable is secured into the handlebars? The piece just slides in there and when the choke is on, it retracts, but when I try to shut the clutch off it sometimes just slides out of it's holder.

So, if anyone could tell me what holds it in or post a pic of the choke cable on the handlebar to get an idea of how it's secured, that would be great.

BTW... went for my first ride on her tonight and wow.... I love this bike!

It's held in by tension in the cable. You probably have too much slack - way down where it attaches to the carburetors.

Agreed, check the clap on the carbs.

Just be careful not to get it too tight. Make sure the lever at the carbs hits its "off" stop and you still have some play in the cable (just not enough to let it fall out at the top.) Check with bars at full lock both ways to be sure it doesn't tighten up enough to pull it on.
