Fall Color Tour Ride

    I've been thinking of doing a longer distance ride around part of mid-Michigan / Northern Ohio as the leaves change color and was wondering who else might be interested.

    I know weather this time of year is very hit or miss. She Who Must Be Obeyed wants to start riding and I've already ordered her a helmet, so we'll be doing a short 80 mile trek around Lansing this Saturday just so I can get used to having a passenger.

    Next weekend though (Oct. 11/12), I'm looking at a much longer ride. Anyone else?

    I'd consider it, although my bike is not always behaving these days. I need a helmet and (it looks like) a battery, and then I could probably do it. If you post when the date gets closer I can decide.

    Northern Ohio has some fantastic scenery in the fall! I'd consider it although scheduling is always problematic for me. Certainly anything that stays within Ohio I'd probably be good for, but my wife can't ride right now so I don't really want to go too far...
