1982 xj650rj seca Windshield wanted!!

if anyone has one that they would be willing to part with please pm me, or reply to this post. I need one asap, it's getting a little chilly riding naked up here.

look for a Rifle sport fairing, or similar fairing rather than a plain windshield.
I installed one on my 82 seca a week ago and it made a world of difference in rideing comfort.
It was 24F when I rode home this AM and I was not cold cause the wind did not really hit me other than a a bit around the top of my helmet and on my boots.
I have been very impressed with the effectiveness of the small fairing.
I found mine on CL in Alaska, even with the shipping I think it was a steal. Pretty sure someone on this forum has a used one for sale, check the For Sale/Trade board.

One (in very good condition) came with my bike. I can send you pics if you like in a day or so. PM an offer - the plastic is in excellent condition, the stands have some paint scuffed off where the guy adjusted the mount, but it's black hence easy to match.

If you either have a good condition dash/tailpiece/ignition cover for the seca, I would consider trading for one or some (obviously a good tailpiece has the most value, particularly since I need a silver one).

 

I'd contact these guys, down in Austrailia.
They made me a Screen to fit my 900.

The price and shipping from Australia was still considerably less than going to see the Parts Guy at the Dealership get hysterical before telling me the Part was close to 3-Bills!

My custom-fit and drilled new screen from Eagle was LESS than a hundred bucks ... delivered!
