I need to do some work to my gauges. Would it be possible to run the bike without the gauges attached to the bike? I don't see anything on the schematics that would prevent it. I would need to remove the speedo cable, any issue with running w/o the cable in place? Any other thoughts?

you will be fine to run it without gauges do not know how legal it is over the pond but it will not harm your bike

dunno where you live, but in indiana, the law is that I have to have a speedo, nothing more, for gauges.

my new build is being centered around this ;)

it is illegal to run w/o gauges in most, if not all states
as long as all "loose ends" are tied up then there should be no damage to the bike.

OTOH my headlight is run through the cluster<my bike IS diff than yours> if this is the case with the maxim some wiring will be needed.

I guess I could wire up the bicycle speedo for the duration of the rebuild.

    Thanks!
