That's great, skoob, I can see this being used extensively for problem identification.

Whoa. So in the bigger XJs the damn Hi-Vo chain drives ONLY the alternator and "jackshaft" directly? Then the starter is geared to that, and the primary drive is gear driven off the crank?

Hey fitz, your Norton, is that the same bike Stone dropped in the street race, in the film of the same name?

Norton, yes, Stone starts out on a Norton in the flick. He's riding a Commando "Fastback" tho, which was the "original" Commando model but was replaced in 1970 by the more standard Roadster models. I have a '74 MKII Roadster. I finally just got a decent digital camera and was going to do a photo session with my bikes and the fall colors, I'll post some pics. The Nort is all original.

I had a bit part in "Stone". Anybody else? It was pretty much my one and only entry into show biz. We got paid in beer and hamburgers!

Fitz, 2 nations divided by a single language, lead in UK = leash in USA.
& lead is a "double entendre" lead as in leash & lead role.
Sorry to have to resort to a third language.
    Have a nice day. Wiz.

Hmm, so you're claiming to have played the role of a bitch who wore only leather and was kept on a lead.
Just remember Wiz, this is a family friendly forum!

Geez I didn't catch it...biscuits=crackers; crackers=insane. And here in the States, the only torches we have are on fire. (We use flashlights.) Had I caught lead=leash I would have got the rest of the joke. Cheers.
