I have been cruising the forum for a while. Thought I would finally post something.
I have a 1981 Maxim 650. It is my first street bike.
There is alot of things I'm wanting to change to more of a custom look. Thats kind of one of my faults.
So far I trimmed the seat. Looks way better.

This site is great. Lots of really good Faqs.

    howdy,

I'm in the same boat as you, as my 83 xj750 maxim is my 1st street bike. I plan on doing some rework to my seat as well, and would really like to see some pics of yours and how it turned out!

    Welcome!

I've got 4-5 different ideas floating around in my head for what to do about my seat, I'd love to see how yours came out as well.

A couple pictures. I do plan on installing some new handlebars next week. I will post pictures in the xj mods page when finished.

    She's a beaut!

Nice to see chrome fenders after all these years.
    Mine have been painted.

    Keep the shiny side up!
