    Pull the pipes.
Mask-off the painted surfaces with some heavy aluminum foil and duct tape layed-on over vinyl tape to protect the surfaces ...

Baking Soda Blast all that dulled aluminum back to a shine.

You still an A 'cause it looks real nice as is.

Very clean, even looks rideable unlike a lot of choppers but with that much motor I would want some FRONT brake. You decided AGAINST the Harley mill, remember?

Good eye on the no front brake!

That's a fast bike you can't ride fast.
You need to put some binders on the front of an XJ-Bike.
The only thing that Keeps on Going and going and going more than an XJ-Bike with Rear Drum Brakes is the Battery-Bunny!

I was wondering if the rocketship performance curve(s) on the XJ might not have caught you by surprise. These things gain revs QUICK no matter what gear they're in, especially in the second powerband (above 7K rpm)and in a lighter chassis you better be pointed in the right direction before you screw it on... You really are going to need to be able to stop it.

gotta agree there.. bike looks tight as it is, and the XJ mill makes it even more appealing.
