    1983 Yamaha Midnight Maxim 11700 original miles Second Owner. Bought this January 2008 as a starter bike. Runs great. New tires and fairing. Passed PA safety inspection good through June 2009. It is a little worn around the edges (25 year old bike) but a solid bike. I get 44 to 46 MPG with it. Have commuted to work 110 miles round trip many times. I am upgrading and need to let this one go. There is still many months in the riding season.

    Did the fairing come on this bike or did you buy it ? I am looking at a Rifle fairing right now, but would like to see the alternatives...I would really like to get a fairing on my 83 750 Midnight Maxim, but not really sure how to go about finding one for it.
