OK I would like to get a set of handlebars close to the stock bend, what are my options? I am sure that not everybody has stock bars on their bikes.

Just from looking at a few pictures I'd say the LRD or Nighthawk curve style on this page.

    Looks sorta close to me.

Fox I'm in the same boat as you wanting to get some new bars that are similar to the stock bars. I just want them to be an inch or two lower and maybe a tad flatter. You may want to take a look at Renthal Handlebars they now make 7/8 in. for street applications. They are made of aerospace aluminum which is said to provide the best combination of strength and fatigue reduction. Also high-impact strength, lightweight, vibration absorbing and anodized to protect against corrosion. I don’t think you can go wrong with any products from Renthal’s top notch stuff. Oh yeah you can buy them at http://www.denniskirk.com Let me know what you think.

The curve on those looks like the same ones I ordered...I think the bend was called "euro".

Mine aren't made of astronaut metal though :(

Yeah they look to be top self handlebars and they shouldn’t ever rust. But then again they do cost $60. At lest they didn’t say something on the lines of ( made out of the same metal as Mars space rover)
