I am wondering if these would work. I found a set that are in alot better condition than the coils that are on the bike now.

What is the primary resistance on the 550 set? If they match up with the 750's spec of 2.5 ohms, you should be ok. Anyone got their 550 book handy?

i'll see if I can find find out also, but if any of you 550 owners out there can tell me that would be great. Oh yeah, found out the battery I have is shot. Another problem found, and another solution to the starting problem that will be fixed.....

I just bought a 750 and 550.... The 750 was not running and I was able to use pickup coils and ignition coils from the 550 to get fire... and a running bike for 400.00 !!!! In checking the electrical values of both components I could find no real difference as the 550 parts fell right into the 750 specs.... good luck!!
