    Sigh...

So a PO did the filter pod/Supertrapp 4-1 conversion on my bike. The correct exhaust is difficult to find, expensive. My Supertrapp can is dented because it was dropped at some point. I've been to their website and the earliest year listed on their site is '85 for the VMAX.

Anyone got a part number for a replacement Supertrapp that fits the XJ750 Seca? Or perhaps someone has a clean, used can and baffle plates laying around because they converted to something else?

The bike runs ok and I don't mind the sound but I'm trying to get rid of the battered, ghetto look.

    Thanks.

I have a supertrap on my XJ1100. I had the carbs rejetted and was running the supertrap without a baffle for awhile. It made my ears bleed but sounded great. I think my neighbors hate me. Anyway my wife made me tone it down a bit so I called up supertrap and they custom made a baffle for me. Cost $135.00

You can see it in the pic. came with 16 plates. Totally customizable to your air/fuel ratio.

I was thinking of going with open headers or maybe even 2-1 on both sides so might be willing to part with this.

I can take more pictures tonight!

    16 plates? Wow.

With regard to the number, how does that work? Fewer plates require larger jets or is it vice versa?

I was running the bike wide open without a baffle and it required 16 plates to meet that air/fuel ratio. That means less plates to go back to stock.
