Got my fairing, handlebars and headlight today from ebay! The Viper fairing looks at least 100X cooler in person then the pics you see on the web.

How I'm going to mount the thing is something of a mystery as yet...the "univeral" mounting brackets are quite generic...I'll check it out in the morning I spose.

Can't mount it until i get my handlebar risers anyway (thank you ugly stock 750max bars) but has anyone mounted one of these that can give me a bit of guidance?

Where's it supposed to mount? The standard fairing I took off mounts to the upper and lower bolts on the triple trees.

The fairing I have has some brackets with slots in each end that you bend to the correct angle, and mount the the bolts through the side of the headlight. Post some pics if you have them, they might help...

The brackets meet up fairly close to the holes on the headlamp. Being as it's the only place on the bike they could even possibly fit, i'll go with Joel07's idea and bend them around.

Assuming my handlebar clamps arrive today, installation will be Saturday morning....pics to follow.
