This is a duplicate thread from the General Forum...Looking for some exposure for more opinions...

    Ebay

Looks like damn near the same thing as an Acewell 2853-AB. Do I dare just to save some cash and get it early? Electrosport doesn't have any with the S4 pickup. The lady said MAYBE in a month...Do I take the risk? Has anyone heard anything about these? Thanks.

Made in china , one must wonder why we do business with a communist country that has killed children and pets of ours and tainted our prescriptions with thier unregulated goods.

sorry I don't like wally( chinas biggest customer) world either.

With all due respect, as I am a newbie here, does your opinion of China really have anything to do with the question I asked?

Yeah, instead get one that's made in china, sold to an American company and then resold to you at a marked up price.

On to the topic, I've never tried these Chinese gauges, but I've had luck with the other 'knock off' stuff that comes out of China. The only major problem if that if its broke or breaks there is NO customer service.

So the choice is yours really

Then I suggest you get rid of quite a vast majority of products that you use every day and have in your household including, I am certain, of most of the hardware composing your computer and still you have given no answer to my question. I highly doupbt my speedo will leap at me with a vengence of children of China because I am a consumer of the product. Global supply and demand is an amazing thing. Look into economics sometime and you may understand. I have no use for your naive opinons of China at this point. I want to buy a speedo...but I digress.

Thank you to all who did give some input. I'll let you know if I get it and how it turns out.

    Alright fellas, 'nuff.
I agree with Kenny, sleep on it. Worst case, you buy it, don't like it and sell it later to someone else to off-set your costs for the Acewell. The parts you are after should be available by then.

Acewell stuff is made in Taiwan according to their site. Taiwan is a republic of China.

Go for the cheaper one on ebay, I too have good luck with products coming straight out of Hong Kong and Taiwan.

It's exactly that kind of ignorance I would expect of people who have clearly never attended the co-ed naked water buffalo derby of southern cuba for the coveted mr stanleys cup!!! :D

His prices are too high.. He's ripping yah off. He could sell it for half that price and still be making a profit.

XJ650ss- yes, very interesting image! Carnival is in full swing in Brazil right now, saw one of those south Cuban naked water buffalo's descend off of a float in front of the judge's stand and shake itself. Brrrrrrph, not sure which species that one came from much less gender. Interesting parades though.
