ok boys and girls have I a deal for you!! I have a 1981 seca 750 for sale. odo say around 9k miles but I am third owner (at least). with it comes a maxium 750 engine minus the carbs and starter if you want also a midnite gold seat and grab bar, maxium gauges, tank, handlebar ,wiring, and whatever else I can find. I will include the manual for the 650/750 seca. the seca has been in storage for the past 9 years so carbs are gummed, battery is dead and tires are cracked and checked. does have a hand laid fairing based on the original along with the original faring frame. pictures? sure send me your phone or email and I will shoot them back to you. oh price..you all think that 500 is fair? if not give me your thoughts. I have seen the seat for the maxium at over 100 on ebay. and buyer pays shipping okay? I'm in oregon. and I dont check this site to much so be patience with me okay thanks spirit

 

I'm restoring an 11k mile 82 XJRJ stored indoors for many years in Denver that I got off Craigslist a year ago for $500 complete in very good shape except the carbs gummed up. Long drive with a trailer but very unmolested bike with new Michelins, new seat cover, manual and title in the sellers name.

In November, I again found an 82 XJRJ on Craigslist in Vancouver, WA-complete but engine in a basket(s) w'30K-decent shape w/extra exhaust, rebuilt carb bank and original carb bank. All engine parts bagged w/IDs and carefully stored-clear title-helpful owner. $300 and again...the trailer. It was near the new IKEA there and we went to Powells for a day and then Jakes so my wife was very pleased with the trip.

Hope that helps your approach to a price-I'm happy with my purchases and didn't have to wrangle over price in each case.
