Looking for the spring that is attached to the rear break light switch; it's the one that connects to the rear foot brake lever.

anybody out there have an extra one? Mine broke!

    Thank-Q all!

You can't buy just the spring. I tried last year. You have to buy the whole unit. It's like $20 or so. Until I replaced mine I put a loop of a zip tie as a go between.

Until my old switch gave out, I found a throttle spring for some Briggs and Stratton engine that I only had to modify a little bit and it only cost me $3

Blind luck man. I happen to be browsing logos and came across it. I've been going nuts trying to find another and have found others but not that one, yet. Here's a couple more that I found. Enjoy

Got me a couple of 3.5" gold Chrome vinyl decals off of ebay and I got tank emblems , well What I got was Golf cart emblems the difference?

slightly bigger , and only 12 bucks a pair instead of 70 -90 bucks a pair.

Still have to clearcoat in a day or 2 before I mount any kind of emblem ..

Auto parts stores usually have an assortment of springs; it's a simple tension spring about 12mm in diameter. I'll bet you could come close.

Hrmph. That's a thought I hadn't considered -- mine broke a year or three back as well. What I ended up doing was browsing Home Despot and not really finding anything close, so I bought a pack of two springs, hooked one into the switch and the other into the pedal, then hooked the other end of one spring halfway up the inside of the other. It's total jury-rig, but it works.

Got a part number on that bad boy?

I' may have one around....I may even still have the whole brake switch. I'll check today when I get out to the shop. If I do, frankenbike has first option, then others if he's all set.

I do have three bikes in boxes so there's a good chance I still have one around. If you need other parts, I may have them, too.
