Help! I had to take off my rear brake control to remove the passenger peg bracket, Now, my brake will not return to neutral position... I cannot figure out where the long portion of the return spring hangs out behind to cause it to return like normal. Just changed out my rear shocks ( Reason behind the dismantleing ) and had to take it off to forcefully remove the right muffler. Thanks guys ( Diagram if possible ) if not, any help is welcome.

I can get you a photo from a Seca 550 but my garage is scrambled right now in the middle of an oil change on the cage; there might be a diagram in the factory book I can scan for you but it's gonna be much later this eve.

I think i got if figured out. I took a ride on the short bus.... There is a bracket with a Bolt ( Stop it looks like ) Well the end of that spring buts against that.. I just didn't have the linkage far enough rotated foward for it to seat. Now the pedal returns to null, brakes work.. Crisis avoided... Wife's trying to take it.. lol.. I'm unable to ride now anyway, just doing a bit of cleaning and maint till my tailbone heals. Thanks again guys.

You got it. The long straight tail of the big spring hooks onto the bottom of the stop screw bracket. That bolt is how you adjust the "at rest" position of the pedal.

I'm glad you figured it out. I have the rear wheel off my Seca right now, and I STILL couldn't figure out how to get a camera in there to take a pic that would help.
