ok. so i changed my oil last night. went for a ride and my clutch is slipping when i hit the gas at speed.
here's the oil difference. i had castrol gtx 20-50 in it and changed it to valvaline 20-50 4-stroke motorcycle oil.
i can't figure out why oil formulated for wet clutches would cause it to start slipping.
also when i was filling the oil. watching through the oil window i saw a sort of white foam on top of the oil as the level went up... is that normal?
any ideas on the clutch. should i just go back to normal auto oil?

The white foam on top would be moisture. Clutch should not slip like that with Valvoline. Check your clutch cable and nmake sure you have got some slack. You could always dump the oil and go back to Castrol if you think its the oil. Let us know.

What he said. The switch from Castrol to Valvoline wasn't the culprit, there's something else going on.
