I'm confused. I'm trying to replace the cracked rubber intake manifolds for #1 and #2 cylinders. My Yamaha xj650j parts list shows 1 part # for cylinder 1 and 2, and another part # for cylinders # 3 and 4. However the drawing shows all 4 tilting the same way. On the bike, this is not the case. The #1 and 2 the bolt pattern is tilted to the left and #3 and 4 is tilted to the right.

Is this making any sense to anyone?

Yamaha parts list shows part # 5G2-13586-01 for cylinders 1 and 2
    it shows 5G2-13596-00 for 3 and 4

I keep seeing ones with the part number 4h7-13586-02-00 being listed on Ebay as the left side. However, looking at the picture of it, it is clearly the right side.

Maybe there is a difference between years?

I'd order a set from chacal if I knew positively that they would be the right ones, but his hcp # doesn't tell me if it is the same as the factory manual #, so I'm a little hessitant to drop $100 fot 2 without knowing they will be the right ones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Signed: confused and frustrated

Sounds good. I've ordered carb drain screws from Chacal before and they were here so fast, he must have used a Star Trek transporter to send them :)
I think I got them in like 2 days.

I've located his part # for the left side intake manifolds ( HCP536LH).

I'm having some difficulty locating the link for placing an order.

    Anyone have it?
And thanks for the help guys.

I just pm him. Not sure when the dude sleeps as I have pm'd him @ 2:00 a.m. PST and received a reply within 10 minutes! I think he sleeps with an alarm attached to his inbox.
