I have an 83 750 with a yamaha fairing. It isn't like the seca fairing. It doesn't have the curves. I have had an unimaginably hard time trying to find parts. I need the headlight cover, a new vent, and the stereo panel. Also as the screws for my running lights/turn signals are stripped I would like to find replacements.

If it is anything like mine I doubt you will find any parts for it.
I have been looking for a part for mine for two years and have not been able to find anything like it anywhere.
    Good luck in your search.

Unfortunately, other than color, mine looks to be an exact match. Have you been able to come with any info at all for yours. My local Yamaha dealer swears yamaha never made a fairing for the maxim, and any that are on them had to be made by Vetter.

Rifle also made/makes a compatible fairing.

For the screws, go to a hardware store and see if they have compatible screws.

I suggest taking decent pictures of your fairing and sending them to vetter and rifle and seeing if it might have been made by them and/or if they have parts you could use. Provide measurements and possibly tracings for the parts needed.
