Petcock Screws

    Anyone know offhand what size the 2 screws are that hold the petcock into the tank? I'd rather go to home depot instead of the local yamaha shop.

    No real help, but my Lowes has a few demo plates bolted to the wall that demonstrate every size they sell - I have found a few bolts that way.

    However - if you are looking at chassis or handlebar bolts (which you're not) you should always get the proper grade for the application to keep them from shearing under load (grade 8 maybe?)

    I guess what I'm saying is - take one out and take it with you.

    Go to a well stocked hardware store and replace them with stainless cap screws -- 65-cents each. Look great .. too!
