i need a site reference to a carb removal and cleaning threat.

also my side panel is missing what i assume is a rubber pin much like those used to hold car doors together i wish i had a digital camera to posst pictures with so i could show everyone, but it is the part that covers the battery and it hasa hole in it in the top right that lines up perfect with a whole on the bike.

anyways thanks alot im sure ill be asking a ton more questions

    WIP,
Those rubber pieces are grommets. You should be able to pick those up at a parts store, O'Reilly, AutoZone, etc.

As for the carb cleaning, Go to the Chat section and under the stickies there is a carb cleaning thread, very helpful, if its not there just do a search for carb cleaning.

You would do yourself a huge favor if you got a manual if you don't already have one. Worth its weight in gold.

You should add your bike to your signature that goes with your posts so everyone knows what bike you are talking about.

And as Buffalo said, there are MANY MANY threads about carb cleaning.
A search will probably pull up a weeks worth of reading.

As far as what part you are looking for, it's helpful to go to one of the online parts places and pull up the parts diagram. If you tell us which diagram and an item number we will all be able to figure it out (if you can't describe it well enough).

Side covers can be hard to find, but E-bay seems to be the most productive place to look.
