Having searched for stock mufflers and come up empty handed (or outpriced), I am exploring other options.

Does anyone have any suggestions of aftermarket mufflers that will work with my '81 650? I'm looking for something similar to the stock that I won't have to retune for.

I used sportster mufflers on mine.Had to do some mods but they sound great and look much better than the stockers.

MAC makes a complete 4-2 exhaust system for your bike. If you shop around you should be able to get it for around $300... still more $$$ than the JC Whitney HD-style mufflers, though.
