Good and bad news.

First I feel like I should start this off with the good news. I took my MSF course this past weekend, and I was the only one in my class to score perfect on both the written and skills test . The class was a blast but it was freezing cold and raining the whole time. So I now have an M endorsement on my license .
I also figured out my rear brake light problems and now have a fully functioning rear tail light.

Now for the bad news. I have no combustion in cylinders 1 and 2. The plugs are wet with gas and gas is also coming out the drain plugs on the exhaust so I know that I have flow. I also pulled the plugs and grounded them to the engine and I have spark in both. Finally, I checked compression and both cylinders are right around 155psi. I also switched the plugs from cylinders 1 and 2 with the plugs from 3 and 4 and they still were not firing. Any help here will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

 

Sounds like 1 and 2 are getting WAY too much fuel. Time to pull the carbs and have a look at the needles and floats.

 

I have the rack pulled now, that is where I was going next. Do you think this could be a problem with the float levels set incorrectly?

 

Yes, or the needles/seats are shot. Invert the rack and blow on the fuel line. If air moves you've got a leak.
