?good offer on hard bags trunk and ferring?

    Ok found a 83 seca for sale near where i live, i'm not so much interested in the bike but he has the original hard bags trunk and ferring for it. What would be a resonable offer for those items? I really have no idea, maybe some of you have bought similar items in the past, what did you pay for them? thanks to all who reply

    They are hard to find, thus hard to price. By their rarity, they are quite expensive. But how many people with a bike that old are going to pay as much as their bike is worth for the OEM hardcases and trunk?

    If the price is right, buy the bike, take the cases and fairing, and resell the bike for the price you bought it ... If it isn't running, rehab it and sell it at a profit.

    Thanks for the advice, the bike does run but its not within my budget. So I offered him 100 dollars and he accepted, but when I got there he couldnt find the ferring, so I just got the hard bags and the trunk with all the mounting brackets even the ferring bracket, for 50 bucks. He's supposed to call if he finds the ferring. I told him I'd give him 50 for it. Overall I'm pretty happy about it. :D

    I thought so too. All i have to do now is paint them to match my bike. And then hope he finds the ferring. He also asked me to spread the word that he has 2 80's model yamaha 550's and a 750 seca for sale . Seca runs and he has title. 550 i believe run but don't have the title to them.
