Andy, aka bluepotpie, has had the 'Rolling Bruise' in my shed a few times.

Well, he's had it outside my shed a few times, finally got it IN it.

Pods, aftermarket exhaust... and jetting he didn't know exactly would work...

Never had it synced or colortuned, since he finished (october?)

Got it in, synced, colortuned, synced again, tuned again...

Voila. First time his bike has EVER idled and NOT died within 1 minute.

Sat outside for 10-15mins - IDLING.

Granted, it's still a BIT high, I believe he was around 1200 or so. But hell... he's been barely running at stop lights having to sit there and rev rev rev.

Never did he think he'd get it synced so well that it would actually hold idle.

Good job Andy - now let's get my whacked idle trimmed out with another sync... eh?

hahaha, i was too lazy to post it. i had considered it, but eeh.

i can't get over how well it idles and how smooth it is through the rpm range. a little less power than before the tune, but i attribute that to how lean i had her before.

sure thing doug, we'll sync yours again... and again.

    C'mon people, congratulate him!

He needs something to boost his ego, he's never 'had it with a lady'.

Give him something to be happy about! lol :)

(maybe he's had it with a man?)

Haha, doug's just bitter cause i turned him down. I keep telling him that if he wants, he can have some of my "overflow" ladies. I just can't be with them all. Lol.

and SLKid, dude, believe it. she was fast as hell. I regularly checked temps and didn't see anything alarming so it wasn't much of a concern. I think i can still go a little leaner and get some of the power back and still be within the acceptable range.

just curious, why'd you have to sync and tune it twice?

When you fine-tune the mixtures it can throw the sync off a tad; then you go back and re-sync and it will put the mixtures slightly out; with each pass it gets closer to ideal.

Who knows why Skippy and Boo-Boo did it. I don't know if you really want to ask them...
