This ad is in the Sacramento CA craigslist with pics, ad #1161852301.
More pics available, send me a pm if interested.

Selling my ’83 Seca 750, model XJ750RK, 4 cylinder, air cooled, shaft drive. It has 38,8xx miles on it which is not bad considering the Seca series of engines (650, 750, and 900) are known for reaching 50-60k miles. For more info check out xjbikes.com. I used to be a Yamaha service technician so I’ve maintained this bike well. When I bought it 3 years ago with 23k miles I tuned it up (compression & leak down test results available), cleaned the carbs and jetted them for the new MAC 4 into 1 exhaust system (stock exhaust included), new tires (replaced twice since), new tapered steering head bearings, changed the fluids (except fork oil, had been done), new lower handlebars & grips, new rear brake shoes, and braided steel brake lines. Since then I’ve upgraded the fuse box to blade type fuses, installed LOUD horns, a Slipstreamer SS-28 windshield (love it in the winter, comes off in summer), re-upholstered the seat, new clutch & cable @25k miles, new throttle cable & front brake pads @31k miles, new K&N air filter, the battery is 15 months old (quality Yuasa sealed type). I just did the valve adjustment, synched the carbs and changed the oil & filter.
Now the bad-there is slight evidence that it has fallen over on both sides (not by me)-brake pedal & lever scratched, the right side cover is missing the Seca 750 emblem & has one broken mounting tab, the fork seals had been replaced before I bought it and they weep but don’t drip, the rear tire will need to be replace soon, the paint is not perfect but no dents, and the oil cooler & crash bars in the pics are NOT included (sold). Other than that, there is nothing wrong with the bike-it runs GREAT! It is not salvage titled & is currently registered through July ‘09. Original owner’s manual and tool kit included. For more pics & info email me.

I saw that ad too. Wasn't it a lot higher in priced? Its been on there a few weeks I think. I thought I saw it there but at a much higher price.
$1150 seems to be more reasonable.

I got mine in Sac for $1K, but it was stock and 17K

    Thanks All,
I sold it Tuesday, full price, and I'll be posting the chrome 3-point mini crash bars & the Lockhart Oil Cooler (I removed) for sale as soon as I take some pics. I had a buyer but he backed out.
I also still have the JC Whitney Midi shocks for sale.
