Couldn't help myself. Its a 96, only 6K miles from the original owner who is too old to drive it. I told him I'd take good care of it. Its looks new for a 13 yo bike. How could I resist?

Yes, I still have my Maxim. But this one can be my daily rider so I don't have to wear out my ol' girl, shes' been good to me. Her carbs need some TLC so she'll be off the road for a bit.

Have a safe memorial day and Crisp Salute to all my fellow vets.

I didn't recognize it either; however, he's apparently hosting the picture offline, and helpfully saved it as "vn750.jpg". Google reveals that the VN750 is a Kawasaki Vulcan.

Gotta love the distinctive rims. Wish I had stock XJs rims. Mine are ugly

Yes, it is a Vulcan 750. I've taken it for a spin or two and it feels nice and torquey with plenty of run. The seat it more comfortable than the Max, weighs about 50 pounds more, but it has a lot more "plastic stuff" than the Max. I guess a lot of "newer" bikes have more plastic than old school bikes.

Doesn't have self-canceling signals like the Max... which was probably ahead of its time back then... but then so was a lot of stuff about the XJs.
