I have a 1982 Maxim 650 that is in decent condition. Tank has a little rust inside. It has around 32k miles, new fork seals, chrome duel pipes, highway pegs, and there are no tears. The paint is in pretty decent condition and I've been using it as my daily driver on nice days. Engine was just rebuilt in the past 2 years and she runs smooth. Let me know if you are interested. I am located in the Boston MA area. I don't know if I am asking to much but I would like to get around 1200-1500 or so for the bike.

    Let me know if interested.

Except for the headlight, the bike looks great. That square headlight just doesn't work for me. Other than that it's a nice clean bike.

Mostly a matter of location. Pretty hard to sell a bike on this site unless several members are nearby. I'm sure you will get some interest off of craigslist or other sale sites.

Thanks. I am having trouble selling the bike. The thing runs like a beast and is a good time but I need to sell it because I will have no where to put it(gotta move). I even have the documented used vehicle inspection report. Locally I'm up against a lot of newer bikes and people see an old bike and think its garbage.

I agree the headlight is ugly as hell but I didnt want to drop money in to fix it if I was selling it. Anyone have any ideas? The engine was just completely rebuilt and everything. Its a little sore on eyes but she runs like shes got ants in her pants.

Well if you don;t have time to get your price the best answer is to drop your price. Your price is fair but you may have to go lower to get it gone. Rebuilt engine is nice and it looks pretty good.

I could drop the price but how low do you think I should go. I also have a very nice cover that would be included.

That is really up to you - the lower the price the faster the sale. Depends on how much time you have.

Whatever you want for it list it a couple hundred higher and go down. Everyone likes a deal.

I'm aiming for 1200 so thats why I'm posting it for 1500. The engine rebuild and all the other work alone is worth that.
