I want to replace the stock front brake lever on my Seca 750, I am not very happy with the stock cable to master cylinder set up. I would like the more direct/responsive feeling my newer bikes have. Has anyone out there done this and if so what handlebar mounted master cylinder did you use? Thanks in advance, Ethan

Debbiker just did a conversion and posted a list of what all she did and which parts she used. Check it out.

thanks Robert, found the post and will PM chacal in a minute for the M/C and go get some custom lines from eBay when it gets here. did you get the side cover mount pins, and if so have you tried either of them yet?

Hi Robert, I just ordered the M/C from chacal, it is my understanding that the new M/C does not come with a low brake fluid sensor, and I am sure that once I disconnect this I will get that annoying flashing light on my 82 750 Seca dash telling me I have no fluid, is there a by-pass or circuit that I can plug in to fix this? Thanks, Ethan

Ethanch, no pins yet. Will check again today, fingers crossed.
You should not need any adapter with the new M/C, the warning is switched (Normally Open) so an open circuit should be fine.

an open circuit will make the brake signal flash or come on. It happened to mine whn I did my brake conversion. you just have to connect that white wire to a ground and it will stop.
