    Wow, very cool!

If I get the bike running correctly tomorrow - I volunteer for this.

Not sure if I will be able to tell, but I think the only thing I will tell is the mileage.

Powerwise, I don't see it making enough difference to 'feel'. But I can see if helping economy. That's IF I get the bike running properly tomorrow.

This one has been discredited several times over over the last 15! years.
No way of actually measuring the perf differences without a serious Engine Dyno. The $500,000 variety.. capable of*reliable/repeatable* fractional HP diferentiations.
Even simple Logic would suggest that even.. IF.. indexing made a difference. WHERE? do you point the thing?? Every Combustion chamber is a Tornado of turbulences. Tough to guess correctly. Simple stupid work around is to use a Lodge type plug where the Plug outer ring is used instead of the 'bent over bit'. But Hey! that's Wayyy too easy.. No Folklore involved there :)

Yeah... No. And the last thing I'm gonna start messing with is my spark plug holes, the plug gaskets or anything to do with them. Steel into aluminum is problematic enough, this one smells of trouble. I cannot imagine it producing any sort of noticeable difference in our application.

i cannot say aniything about power gains, but we have been doing this on all of our race machines for quite some time now. it certainly hasnt HURT anything.

I don't think you'd HURT anything either, I just can't imagine any real-world value. I hadn't heard of this one before; do you actually SEE any benefit from doing it on your racing machines?

If you didn't do any measurements, then how did you decide which way to point them?

indexing plugs is much older than i am....we just go with the age old method of facing the gap towards the EX. valves.

I'm going to try it too!! Right after I lube my muffler bearings and adjust my knorton rod.

C'mon people... In the unlikely event that this actually does something good for you, however small the gains may be, you do realize that it won't do you any good at all unless your at wide open throttle, right?

Prior to WOT, if you want more power, just crank the throttle open a little more.

After... and only after, you get to WOT and you find that you're still itching for more ummph, then you can start thinking about things like indexing your plugs. There's lots of other, more mainstream things, to check first though!
