The guy is wanting $4500 for a customized 1982 Yamaha "Maxima". Should someone tell the guy that the bike is called a "Maxim" and that what he actually has is a Vulcan? Either that or it's one heckuva custom job.

    Gotta love craigslist.

I say he has no idea, that is definetly a vulcan and it's late 90's for sure. I have a buddy that has a red one just like it. I'm gonna give the guy a call and mess with him.

My Maxim was listed as a "Maxima," I took this as my advantage as I doubted anyone else would actually find the listing.

The bike is not a Vulcan. It is a Yamaha 650 V-Star.

Not justifiable to sell for what he is asking, they costed much less than that when they were new...and to maintain with parts now is another story. am sure lot will agree.
