what do you all think????? YES OR NO. I'm on the short side like 5'8" and the shield seem short as the wind is still buffeting my helmet. i'd like to go taller with the shield but not sure what material to use. Lexan, Plexiglass or what.I built the farring out of fiberglass myself and also did the paint work. It is a base coat clear with all the striping under the clear. I'm still not finished with the farring as i did't like the way the black came out on the side looks awkward. This is a 1982 seca 750 with 16,000 miles on it and was sitting 7yrs befor i picked it up on craiglist for $450.00. Lots of work done carbs, paint, master cylender pain in a** but it runs good arround town as long as you don't try to ring it neck too hard. Still need to go through a few thing and tune but for now with the prices of gas going up it's a great comuter for work.

I like it WITH the fairing the square headlight all alone looks lost to me.

The question is, which is more comfortable to ride? I certainly wouldn't sell the fairing.

Personally when I ride North I have a terrible headwind to deal with. E or W I have a terrible crosswind. Riding South is a joy no matter what.

Don't worry about what you might LOOK like, you're automatically cool because you're on two wheels. What's most comfortable for you?

I've read posts where people say they only put their fairing on when it's under 50 degrees that day. Have you pondered something like that?

Use Lexan, plexiglass is too brittle for something like a windshield and scratches too easy...........

    I stand corrected, lol.

I guess I should have specified either moped, scooter, or motorcycle.
