Pics of rescued 86 max x

Here are some pics (I'm bored and stuck in Iraq) of the Maxim X I rescued from the barrio north of DC a few weeks ago. I was relieved to find out that the triple trees weren't bent (reference the photo taken from the front) because I was seriously considering parting it out. This was before I did too much to it. I swapped the battery out of my maxim x (got a new one, heh), swapped carbs (need to work on them a bit) cleaned the crap out of her (lost spark on 2 and 3, so swapped coils) and now she looks like a bike (of course there are no up to date pics because of where I am). I also replaced the handle bars...do they look bent to anyone else? I have a set of triple trees on the side and I found that what appeared at first to be the triple trees being bent was actually the center stand being tweaked no less than 3/4 of an inch from a crash...yeesh, how do folks do this? Anyway, Designer_Mike got me some parts and when I get back to the world in 86 days (who's counting?) I'll finish her up. enjoy

edit, I paid $500 for her and I've only put about 200 into her. The guy wanted 850, but I should've thrown an offer of 400 on it. I was gonna walk if he didn't take 5 for it. He countered at 550, and I just shook my head and said 'no'.
