I am not a big fan of the bars or headlight on my 82 xj750 I think they make the bike look dated... Will the tree, bars, and headlamp assembly from a xj650 bolt onto the 750 forks?

I'm not positive but I think you can get the top of the tripple tree off any XJ bike and then just get an 7/8th in bars you want. Don't waste your time with used bars just get new. They are cheap enough.

The headlight I'm not too sure about. You might have to get the mounting bracket as well. I really like the 8in light on the 650 seca but if your thinking of doing any sort of fairing go with a 7inch light.

not really wanting a fairing.... just not an 80's square headlight.
I like the round headlight of the 650

The 650 Seca has an 8 inch headlight which is really rare. You will probably have to go with a 7 inch round. But I agree the square headlights are ugly. There are plenty of aftermarket round headlight options as well. There is also this option.

When you switch the handlebars, just be careful of cable length. If the length is too different the cables will either not reach or will bend oddly.
