Ok so Ive been having trouble finding why my revs are hanging or sticking a bit. And Ive norrowed it down to just maybe my float heights or some other mystery problem. I have checked for leaks and I'm good and my clunk is right on. But I went to start it up and didnt let it warm up so much, just let it get to idleing and I went for a ride. Damn thing comes down from revs and from clutching perfectly. I was able to street bike my way around the twists and turns of the backroads. Before if I pulled the clutch in i would climb to 4k or so, unless I slowed the motor down in a high gear to a stop. But now its working great, or better anyways. The only thing I can think of is when I was messing with the bike before it was getting too hot and that was causing some repercussions which led to hanging revs. Cause I let the bike come to a good idle and took off and it was mint unlike any other ride.

just thought it was weird and see if anyone thought its because of over heating. Or its possible there is a leak or fuel system problem that occors only when real hot?

Either way It kinda put a smile on my face the way it rode.

congrats on a good idle finally. mine just got there today, and it put a smile on my face when it started first crank and held at 1100.
still sluggish off idle when I take off, but I will take that over 3k+ rpm idle

nice! yeah it was a great first project bike for me. I guess it just likes to get right out on the road right away and doesnt like sitting around too long heh.

at least you have a key! I use a screwdriver that I keep in my side panel as a key.
at least I dont have to pull the seat anymore to fire it up!
