Been posting allot lately so here we go again. Taking my wheels off to have new tires put on. Is there a trick to take off the rear axle, it is just hitting the right muffler, not by much but enough so the axle will not come off.

Assuming bike is on center stand... Undo the bottom shock mounting bolts and let the swingarm drop... Axle should now be clear.

It was only hitting by 1/32" or less. I put a Philip's screwdriver in the hole in the end of the axle, pulled and moved it back and forth and it slide out. There was a little indent on the bottom of the muffler from the PO that took it off before. Happy to see the bearings look fairly new.
    Thanks.
